Government agreed to increase Czech language knowledge required for permanent residency to A2 level.
In case you submit the application for permanent residency by August 31st 2021, completion of the A1 level exam will still be sufficient. There will be enough terms available for the A1 level exam up till the end of 2021, so you do not have to rush to complete the exam during summer of 2021.
If you submit the application for permanent residency on September 1st or later, you will already have to pass the exam at A2 level. First available dates for A2 level exam will be in November 2021.
